Book 4 is out!

I'm starting this news post by looking at the email I sent out for Book 3.> The first line was:> It's been a hell of a year and a hell of a ride [...]> Boy, I don't remember what happened, but it was Nothing compared to the year that life threw at us this time around. We were hard at work ...

New Website!

After a lot of work in the background, the Playing Gods website has been rebuilt from the ground up by Karen Rohan and Pepper 'Drakinite" Lees. Several elements will look the same, the home page in particular, but the Extras and About sections have been entirely revamped. The art gallery has undergone the largest overhaul, including a new layout that is easier to browse and sort through. The we...

A eulogy for our dog

From Chris: I found him while taking out the trash. He was across the road, drunk on scents and discovery, oblivious to everything around him up to and including traffic. I r...

Book 3 post production begins!

It's that time again where Playing Gods is out of the director's hands and back into mine. And here I stand, looking in the crowded bookshelf that is my life and trying to find a spot in which to wedge it. This is also the part where I start cursing my former self for writing something with such complicated sound design elements. "Why can't everyone just sit down, have some tea, and rationally ...

New Fan Character section!

We have a few fans who went so far as to make fan characters for the series! While these were originally buried in the fan art section, not everyone who has expressed interest in designing a character is an artist. We thought it would be a good idea to create a new section so we can showcase these characters regardless of the type of content produced about them. On a related note, if you've eve...

Shouting into the Void

Or whispering. I'm a little too self-conscious to shout advertisements into the white noise that is the internet. As any less popular creator will tell you, it's disheartening to take your meticulously crafted art and send it into the endless ocean of media where it goes often unnoticed.
